Frequently Asked Questions about Seven Leaves Cbd.

  • Where is it grown?

Our hemp is grown in 2 different states depending on the product. The hemp we use for our Full Spectrum cbd oils is grown in Colorado through the Colorado Industrial Hemp Program. This indicates the hemp is grown from a licensed farmer that adheres to strict growing standards that control the types of seeds that are used, harvesting practices that are clean, and the amount of 0.3% THC in the plant. The hemp is also USDA Certified Organic.

In our topical salves, we choose to leverage Wisconsin grown industrial hemp that is cultivated using the same level of standards. We simply choose this because it makes more sense for us for manufacturing and shipping purposes.

  • How is it extracted?

We use vapor distillation best because the CBD is removed from the plant through heated vapor with no chemicals or solvents involved in the extraction process. Heated air is selectively used to vaporize and distill and activate the compounds found in the plant. The end result is an ultra-pure, activated oil that is terpenes and cannabinoid rich. It is the most expensive method, but why would we settle for anything but the best in our professional grade CBD products.

There are different methods of extracting CBD. The most common (and least expensive) extraction method utilizes a liquid solvent (usually ethanol, hexane, isopropyl alcohol or butane) to remove the active compounds from the hemp plant and transfer them in to the liquid. The carrier liquid does get evaporated, however the CBD extracted with the liquid solvents trace amounts of the extraction chemicals often remain after the extraction process. CO2 extraction and vapor distillation are considered an alternative (and cleaner) extraction method.

  • Is it full-spectrum CBD or CBD isolate?

We believe in and use a USDA Certified full-spectrum hemp extract and feel it is more effective and has more health benefits. We also provide a third-party lab testing to confirm that THC levels are below 0.3% (considered the legal limit for hemp).

  • How much CBD per serving?

Our full spectrum CBD oils are approximately 1 mg per drop. We recommend 8-10 drops which would equate to 8-10 mg. Although everybody reacts and absorbs Cbd differently, we recommend you go on your own personal journey. A full dropper has 32 drops, so one full dropper would equal 32mg. Try splitting up your dosage in the am and pm and take note of the results you observe. Please share with us any feedback or success stories you have.

  • Besides CBD what else is in it?

Our pure full spectrum CBD distillate is then mixed with organic and sustainably sourced MCT oil (Medium Chain triglyceride). We bond our ultra premium naturally extracted CBD with MCT oil because it is more effectively absorbed by the body, improves brain function, and tastes good. • What Happens if I take Cbd everyday?

Absolutely. For the best effects, you actually should take CBD on a daily basis. You can't overdose on CBD, and it is fat soluble, which means it compounds in the body over time, to multiply potential health benefits. We do advise to take a break from time to time to let your body’s endocannabinoid system reset.
